God is still on the Throne

GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE

By Pastor Darryl Woodson

Revelation 4:1-2_... 2Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

Verses 9-10_9Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne,

The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ as to His servant John comprises of the seven letters to the seven churches in Asia, the vision of the Throne room of Heaven and of future things to come. This book comes with blessings to the one who reads and hears the words of prophecy written therein, and keeps those things which are written.

Nothing on earth compares to anything in heaven, no beauty, no sight, no smell, no sound…
The One who sits on the Throne in appearance like jasper and sardius stone, the light of the Glory of Him fills the place and the colours of the emerald-like rainbow around the Throne, with the lightnings, thunderings and voices that proceed from the Throne.

Revelation 4:5_5…Seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are seven Spirits of God.

The book of Revelation is full of sevens, as is evident to the one who reads this precious book. These seven Spirits of God are found mentioned by Isaiah, a prophet in Judah, in;

Isaiah 11:2_2The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Despite the things that go on around us, the murders, the bombings, nations fighting nations or family instabilities, God is still on the Throne. He created all things and reigns and rules over all things. By His Will they exist and were created not by the will of any other.
These end of days require us to live in wisdom and not out of fear of anything as this symbolizes that God is not on the Throne, especially on the throne of our hearts.

Let us live daily by taking ourselves off the throne of our hearts and let God take His rightful place! This is the time the Church has to shine brightly for all peoples and nations to see and come to the knowledge of God. This cannot happen if God is not on His Throne in our lives.

Hebrews 4:16_16Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Mercy is at the throne of grace, come boldly in faith that mercy is ready to be poured out on you and grace you will find thereupon.
