And
as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: “My house will be
called a house of prayer for all nations"?
Mark
11:17(NIV)
|
To create a "house a prayer for all nations", we
must first start with creating an altar of prayer in the individual, then in our Home and then the Church and then it will spread to our Communities
and then to the Nations.
An Altar is a place that is dedicated to
calling upon the Lord. A place of sacrifice; a place of waiting upon God
for His instructions. An altar belongs to a priest. We are called to be a holy priesthood as in 1 Pet. 2:5 you
yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrificesacceptable to God through Jesus Christ." The priest stands and a commune with God and God reveals
for His instructions. An altar belongs to a priest. We are called to be a holy priesthood as in 1 Pet. 2:5 you
yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrificesacceptable to God through Jesus Christ." The priest stands and a commune with God and God reveals
mysteries to man about Himself and the land. We must offer
a worthy sacrifice to Him and He responds
with "fire" and consumes it.

1) Individual Altar - It is a personal choice
to follow Christ. After the decision todo so is made, we realize
our life is not our own. (Gal. 2:20).
We live for the purposes of God. (Matth. 7:21; 2 Corinthians 6:3-10).
We live for the purposes of God. (Matth. 7:21; 2 Corinthians 6:3-10).
Under His royal Law of Love (Matt. 22:36-40; Luke 6:27-45;
1 John 3:16-19)
This lifestyle is maintained through a daily prayer time ,
"Alone with God".
2) Home
Altar - As followers of Christ, our families have been placed in
certain neighborhoods. The Christian home, through intercessory prayer
will make an impact for Christ in our homes and those around us. we also can do that through our currently started life groups.
3) Church Altar - We are yielding to the
work of the Chief Shepherd to establish "His house of prayer for all
nations" (Mark 11:17),Instead of a church with prayer meetings,
we believe God has called us to be an "A Praying church."
we believe God has called us to be an "A Praying church."
4) Community Altar - We gather with local
expressions of the Body of Christ, to discern and implement
corporately the will of the Lord in united prayer. It's
the oneness of our efforts that will pierce the darkness
and bring transformation to the region.
