We were blessed this week to have one of our 'sheep' now Pastoring a sister church at Victory City Church Rubaga come and share with us the word of God. Ps Henry Mugisha.
He talked of one of the most common sins we find ourselves falling into, "Gossip". Yeah, sounds familiar.
Gossip may sound appealing at the time but its murder. You are destroying the other persons reputation.
The bible says,
... the tongue has the power of life and death. Proverbs 18:23
The words that we speak to people can either build them up or break them down. He continued to demonstrated how we ought to use our words as a tool of encouragement. He emphasized that in every person, there is good in them and that we ought to look at the good in people and dwell on that.
People are built when we speak positively to them. He gave clear demonstrations whe he randomly called forth different people from the congregation and spoke good things about them showing how kind words build up a person.
We were challenged to reach out to one another and speak positively to one another which is a clear indication that we Love one another.
