Revival Meetings at V.C.c Ntinda
 With Ps Doug Weaver

We are blessed this week to have Ps Doug Weaver, a worker with global teen challenge Africa Director who has come with a team to share what God has placed in his heart for us and carry out various outreaches with Teen Challenge Uganda a local NGO ministry that helps people overcome life controlling problems like drugs and alcohol.

He began his meetings with the Teen Challenge Counselors and shared with us how being counselor is a vital position since we are to introduce Christ to the students so that they may have an encounter with him. He quoted from Phil 3:8.

Phil 3:8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing c  Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ d

He stressed that the students will only consider all the bad habits they do as rubbish if they have an encounter with Jesus and that’s the job of the counselor to do. I personally agreed strongly with him and it provoked me to think differently when it comes to counseling a person.

After, we then headed for the revival meetings which began with great intercession. Ps Doug, then shared on the greatest of all wars, spiritual warfare. His main text was Ephesians 6:10-17. He made us realize the authority we already have since we are seated with Christ in the high places. We already have the authority; all we have to do is stand and use it.

I got a paradigm shift of my position in Christ and how the battle is already won for me to walk in the victory. Well I could go on forever…. But feel free to join us as he continues with this intriguing sermon.

Our monthly prayer and fasting begins today till Sunday join us as we seek God
